☽ ♒ Fall sage gathering ♒ ☽

One thing i love about going back home to where my family lives is the abundant sage that grows throughout the land.   We recently took a walk into the hills and harvested some of this years medicine.

My tools: a good knife, handmade willow basket for the cuttings and of course, a little bag of offerings as  i always try and give back to the land.

Made this beautiful Raw Pumpkin Pie for our family!  Love in all directions and a special aloha to our native family here on the red earth...  bountiful blessings! 

CRUST:
1 1/2 C pecans, almonds or mac nuts: raw and unroasted
4 oz date paste
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbls vanilla
2 oz cacao powder: optional
1/3 C cacao nibs: optional
*place all ingredients in a food processor, coconut oil up a cheesecake pan and add ingredients spreading evenly on the bottom and sides of pan!

FILLING:
2 C soaked cashews
1 C bananas
3 C raw shredded butternut squash
2 tbls lemon juice
1/2 C agave, honey or coconut sugar make into liquid form
2 tbls vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
1C almond milk or of course, breast milk if you have it!
3 tbls lecithin
1C coconut oil
*place all ingredients except lecithin and coconut oil in a blender (vitamix works best). Blend for 3 mins and then add lecithin and coconut oil and blend for another 2 mins. Pour into cake pan and freeze for 3 hours. Place in fridge for a bit and enjoy!!!! *for swirls, reserve 3/4 cup of filling and add 1/8 C cacao powder. pour on top and swirl in with chopsticks!!

Mushrooms and Rainbow road trippin!

What a beautiful last few months we have had! The South West has blessed us beyond! SO many stories to share! I will begin with a little of the magic that surrounded us. Amanita Ceremonies, Rainbow plant offerings to the Mama, Crystal waterfall cleansings and last... a sweet little Gnome named Naia!

Boulder has been blessing us with some sky crystals!  I took a little walk in the snow while Naia was napping and made a few offerings.  I love earth mandalas...  these ones are simple but sweet.
